Ferris Wheel At Luna Park

The original Ferris Wheel was designed and constructed by George Washington Gale Ferris in Chicago in 1893. While earlier wooden wheels had been constructed by others, Ferris was able to make his name stick to the wheel-like steel structures enjoyed by so many at amusement parks the world over, including at Luna Park in Sydney.
